It’s been one month since my last post… The biggest reason for that: I’ve been busy closing one long chapter in my life and opening another. After spending well over 20 years in Washington DC, I finally moved out… to Miami. Sometime soon, I’ll be writing on what I do and don’t miss about the DMV.

Up until November of last year, I had never even been here (except for the airport when on my way to and from the Caribbean). To say that I like it here so far might be a little but of an understatement.

I don’t know too many people, and I have no close friends to speak of. I’m making new acquaintances and discovering new things everyday. It’s nice to be able to start fresh. And it’s even nicer living near the beach!

I haven’t taken out my 5D just yet, but I have taken a few shots with the X-Pro1. I’ll share some of those later on. For now, here are a few pictures I’ve taken in South Beach with my iPhone, using Hipstamatic.
