Reality is starting to settle in – it’s a good thing.
I just came home to Lebanon yesterday… but that’s not the home I’m writing about.
My new home is in Miami, and it didn’t really hit me until I came back there a few days ago from a short assignment in New Orleans. It was my first time ‘coming back home’ since I moved into my new place at the beginning of August. The whole experience was a bit surreal, but a pleasant one nonetheless.
I arrived to Miami with just a few suitcases on July 8. Since then, I flew back to DC to get the rest of my things and taken one business trip. I’ve only spent about a month there, mostly focused on work and getting settled. But I have taken the X-Pro out a few times to focus a bit on my surroundings.
Here are some of the shots I like best so far… all of them were processed with customized VSCO 4 presets in Lightroom.
