Better times in Barcelona

Tragedy struck Barcelona earlier today. I have a knot in my stomach from all the horrible images and stories coming out of my TV. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who’ve been hurt, and the families of those who lost their lives. The world truly is a scary place.

Luckily, it’s not always so bad over there. Hopefully this won’t happen again.

I had the pleasure of visiting Barcelona just over a year ago. It was part of a family vacation and my first real taste of Spain. As first impressions go, I was very impressed.

Minutes after I got to Plaza de Catalunya, I was in the middle of a protest in favor of immigrants’ rights. Good vibes were everywhere.

I’d rather remember Barcelona in better times. Here are a few of those memories from my Fuji X-T1.

I look forward to going back there sometime soon. Hopefully the good vibes will be back.
